Colored pencil and pen.

This drawing represents a song in some sort of ether-notation. I think that each of the shapes represents a type of note for a type of instrument. Also, I get the feeling that even though there are only three lines in this staff, the song is actually longer than that — three lines equals a page, and all of the pages overlaying each other. Wonder what kind of melody this would produce?

On a side note, this is one of several drawings I’ve done recently that have used a more complicated method of coloring. As a result they have a lot more texture and color depth to them and I’m having trouble getting my scanner to make faithful digital images of them.
